The mistake that links your accounts together
There's a mistake a lot of people make when they buy Reddit accounts: as soon as one account gets banned, they open another from the same device. Reddit ties it to the old one immediately. It might not ban it right away, but it flags it — and the account goes down on the first action that matters.
I learned that the hard way, back when Reddit started putting its first filters in place: that was the signal it looked at first.
What I use
My advice is to use a proxy — below you'll find reviews of the ones I'm using now — together with an anti-detect browser that emulates a different device.
I strongly advise against VPNs on their own. If you're going to use one, never without an anti-detect browser and a proxy: by itself a VPN hides none of what Reddit actually looks at.
But they aren't enough
Proxies and browsers don't solve it on their own. They work alongside warming up the account: without that, all you've changed is the address — the behaviour is still that of a new account moving in a strange way.
Proxy types, and what I've tried
I've used every type: static, rotating, mobile, residential. And I built my own 4G proxy farm — a thousand dollars in dongles and dedicated software.
What each action needs
My experience says the anti-detect browser emulates a desktop machine, and that for real actions — comments, posts, links — you need residential proxies.
For warm-up, 4G proxies are fine, or even your phone's wifi. That's where you save money.
My 4G farm: what I learned
I use the 4G farm for warm-up and it works. But the moment I post a comment, the accounts get banned.
My explanation is that, running more than a thousand accounts, the IPs end up linked to each other. I can't prove it, but the pattern is too consistent to be chance.
Static or rotating
If you use a static proxy you can attach up to five accounts to it, but you need at least three hours between one login and the next.
That's why I prefer rotating proxies: they take the timing problem off the table.
The cheapest option, and it works. On every session you have to restart the phone and check the IP has actually changed before you log in.
Around $1 per GB, which makes it the most interesting one on cost, with a good range of residential proxies for Reddit.
